My mind is spinning with ideas for more characters too! What is great about them in that they do lay flat by folding in the arms and legs, so them can be mailed in a small invitation envelope. All the punches are from Stampin Up.

The Ultra Scrapbook Storage Unit is the most versatile of all Sharon's Scrappy Space storage units! It will hold all your punches and just about any stamping and scrapbooking products you would want to store! The photos above show only a few combinations of ways to store your crafting supplies. The possibilities are endless!

Included with the Ultra Scrapbook Storage Unit are a number of different lengths of blocks, slat spacers and dowels so that you can fully customize your unit to suit your own needs. The slat spacers are used to make your favorite supplies fit. For example, in the photos, slats are used to as space to fit my ink pads to fit in some shelf cubbies. Blocks are used to add tiered shelving and to place behind smaller product on cubby shelves so your products won't slide in cubbies and be difficult to get ahold of. Small bumper stickers are included to place on end of dowels to hold them firmly in place.

When I first started Sharon's Scrappy Space website, my main reason was to share scrapbook storage solutions and ideas with others. Although I have become a Stampin Up Demonstrator and love doing tutorials and sharing projects using Stampin Up products and I still have a passion for scrapbook storage and organization.

Many of you have emailed me or posted comments on my website and YouTube channel about my storage ideas and tips. Those comments and emails inspired me to take the plunge design and start making scrapbook storage units, which has been a dream of mine for a while now. I chose to start with punch storage units because there are very few options for punch storage especially for the newer style of punches that Stampin Up and other leading companies sell.

It is amazing what all is involved in producing these units. When I first got the idea, I never dreamed of what all was involved. But when I get an email from someone who just their unit and they love it, it makes my day like nothing else! It makes all the time, money and energy worth it and inspires me to keep going.

As you know from my last article, my husband Francis and I went to Hot Springs, Arkansas and met up with my brother Donald to build the first "Ultra Scrappy Storage Unit". My brother Donald and I worked closely together to build each new unit. There is a lots and lots of measuring and remeasuring and many discussions (sometimes slightly heated LOL) on how best to build them. It boggles our brains, with all the measurements and figuring out how best to make them.

Here are a couple photos of us working on the new "Ultra Scrappy Storage Unit". (You will have to excuse my lack of makeup and hair styling LOL! We are both covered with saw dust and do not look our best but that is the reality of being in the shop).

If you are wondering why we go to Hot Springs, Arkansas to build the units, it is because my mother has graciously allowed us use her garage to set up our wood working shop, and use her front living room as our shipping office. While my brother and I both don't live in Hot Springs, it has given me the opportunity to set up a shop to get started. The best part is that it gives us opportunity spend time together as a family. Do I have a wonderful family or what? They have been so awesome to help me see my dreams realized.

The first "Ultra Scrappy Storage Unit" has been built and I have it here and will soon be posting photos of many ways to store scrapbook and stamping supplies. I am so excited I can't hardly stand it! Personally I think this unit is the best yet! This is the unit that I have been waiting for to use myself!

When we got home last night with the new "Ultra Unit", I couldn't wait to try it out! I was up past midnight rearranging all my supplies on it and I have to say I LOVE IT! What I love so much about this unit is that it holds the majority of supplies that I use most and need to have easy access to.

Photos will be coming soon! In a few days I will have the first 5 units available for sale. I am so excited I feel like a kid at Christmas!

Today, I can't contain my excitement! My husband are headed to Hot Springs, Arkansas, where we are going to oversee the construction of the prototype of my newest unit in stamping and scrapbook storage! This unit has been a vision of mine for the last year and finally, it will become a reality.

Hello friends! I am so excited to share with you what I have been up to. My guess is that some of you have been wondering why I haven't posted much lately or had any new tutorials in the last few weeks. Well.... drum roll.... I have been getting ready for the next phase of my business, manufacturing and selling Scrappy Storage Units. For my first product for sale, I have designed the Ultimate Punch Storage Unit!

As most of you know who have been following my website for a while, scrapbook organization is why I first started this website. I have been obsessed with how best to store my scrapbook supplies. For a while now, it has been a dream of mine to design and sell scrapbook storage units. For my first storage unit, "The Ultimate Punch Storage Unit", I designed for punch storage. Punch storage is such a challenge for many of us and it hard to find anything out on the market to specifically store punches.

The Ultimate Punch Storage Unit is made of top grade lumber and solidly made, so this will be a unit you can use for years to come. When I designed the Ultimate Punch Storage Unit, I wanted it to be versatile to allow space for most styles of punches. To do this, I made the shelves removable. The second reason is to allow for you to paint or stain your unit any color you would like.

Below is a photo, to show you how you can store both styles of punches, and as you can see, the bottom section, holds all the different sizes of punches. The Ultimate Punch Storage Unit will hold most styles of punches and is not made exclusively for Stampin Up punches. Since I am a Stampin Up demonstrator, I only have current Stampin Up punches, so that is why you see only Stampin Up punches in the cabinet as an example. In the bottom of the center of the cabinet, I have a shelf removed to allow space for my Triple Layer punches. On the top, I removed shelves to allow for the older style of punches. Plus I wanted to show how all the new style of punches can fit in the bottom area of the unit and leave room at the top for your other styles of punches. Also, I made extra space for room to grow! The section will hold 48 punches and the bottom will hold many depending on the sizes.

The Ultimate Punch Storage Unit will be released in the next couple of days. I have ten units built to start with, so the first ten to sell will be shipped out immediately. My plans are to have more built once I see if they will sell, so there may be a small waiting period after the first ones are sold. The Ultimate Punch Storage Unit will sell for $129.95 plus shipping and will be shipped to you fully assembled. You will be able to purchase the Ultimate Punch Storage Unit off of this website, and I will have a page on my website dedicated for my Scrappy Storage Units. These are available only to buyers who live in the United States.

I want to thank my family, including my husband Francis, my brother Donald, my mother Juanita, and my daughter Amy for all their help and support. My daughter, Amy Perry (who is also my Stampin Up down line), has been such a blessing to me and she is also my business manager and web designer. Cornacopia

Hey Friends,

Well I finally got around to making the cornacopia that I dreamed about a couple weeks ago. What I dreamed was not this exactly. Believe it or not my husband came up with this idea for the holder part of this. It was like duh, why didn't I think of that. So I have to give my husband Francis credit partly for this creation. Which is kind of scary in a way LOL.

I used the petal cone and emboss it with the houndstooth embossing folder to make the cornacopia and made different combinations of flowers to create this. I didn't fold the score lines and when I embossed it the score lines just dissappeared so I was able to make a cone shape out of it. I punched holes all around the top in the petals to thead my ribbon through and tied a bow. It is all held together with wooden skewers as stems and I have a round piece of floral foam in the cone. Also to attach the skewers as stems I used the same technique I did in the flowers in basket video. I won't be doing a tutorial on this so I thought I would give you some instructions on this.

Ok I know this is going to sound a bit strange, but last night I dreamed about Santa. Not like that, I dreamed about this card! I am not sure but I am thinking I am a bit odd, because I dream of projects or tutorials EVERY NIGHT! Most ideas don't pan out, (referring to the cornucopia I dreamed about night before last) but the Santa card was in my dreams last night and I just had to do it. Club Project Month Of July 2011

Hey Stampin Friends,

Club is coming up on Saturday the 23rd and I thought I would share what we are doing this month. My club members have been wanting to do some projects with the Build A Blossom Punch and Stamp Set. I used mainly Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White and Old Olive for paper, ribbon and inks. Once I got to looking around on the Iternet I was amazed at how many different ways the Build the Blossom Punch could be used! It was hard to choose just three! Here are the 3 cards and matching gift box we are doing.

Hey Stampers,

Two of my grandchildren had birthdays this last weekend and I made cards for both boys. The train card I have had for a while now waiting on Kameron's birthday. I had a lot of difficulty giving this card to him because I was afraid he would tear up the card. (He tore up the card I made for his mother's birthday to my dismay) For a long time now, I have wanted to make a scrapbook page out of the train card design, and that is how this idea blossomed. Once the scrapbook page was done for Kameron, naturally I had to do one for Joshua. I used punches to make each of the cards. The framed cards/scrapbook pages came out so cute! I love them. Of course when the boys opened them, they were not as excited! LOL Boys will be boys. I will be doing a video soon on the Spongebob card.

Scrapbook Room Photos Updated!

Hey Stampers!

After much adue, I have finally gotten my room reorganized and my closet addition almost done! I just couldn't wait to show you all the photos of my updated stampers paradise! This first photo is of the room when you first enter my room. As most of you know, that when I became a Stampin Up Demonstrator I got rid of most of my supplies that were not current Stampin Up products. So you can see that some of my shelves now hold my cards and mini scrapbooks.

This photo is of the new closet! It turned out that the Ikea items I bought for my closet didn't work out as I had hoped, so this is what we did instead. I have made good use of the Ikea items in my upstairs classroom area. At a later time, I will post photos of the upstairs classroom. My plans for the closet is to keep all my Stampin Up paperwork and projects ready to go for workshops and classes. When I have smaller classes in my scrap/stamping room it will provide extra surfaces to work off of. As you can see my sweet husband installed shelves, lighting and electricity in my new closet. We removed the doors to open up the space to be as part of the room. On the right side, I have my epson printer and on the right I have my Photo Studio, which my husband got me for Christmas.

As you can see I still have my ink pad shelf that I got off of Craigslist. I have two sets of Stampin Up ink pads and markers, one set of reinkers and one set of craft reinkers for all the Stampin Up current colors. I have some of my markers, reinkers and inkpads over at my main workstation. This table below my ink shelf is where I have smaller classes and where I can spread out when need be.

Below, this photo is of my workstation, which has evolved since we built it. I couldn't find what I was looking for within my budget so I designed this and my husband and I built it. On the top shelf, I have miscellaneous supplies in the boxes and in the middle, I have most of my current Stampin Up stamp sets.

This area in the middle of my workstation has a shelf that includes all my punches, most of my embellishments, some reinkers, ink pads, glimmer mists, and other tools that I need handy when I am working and doing videos. As you can see, I have my camcorder mounted above my workdesk to shoot videos. Directly below my heat gun is a small remote for my camcorder. On the sides are cubbies that hold my current catologs, reference book, and envelopes of paper and projects I am currently working on.

Here is my workstation inkpad and small punch storage. I used the large inserts for the Big Shot storage boxes. I simply placed them into the shelf at a slight angle and screwed over the top lip of the insert. My small punches also fit well into these inserts.

Hey Stampers!

Here is my latest creation, I am pretty excited about this idea. I was inspired by a card I saw on Stampin Connection created by Ann Schach. She is a very talented lady and when I saw her card, I knew I had found the inspiration for my shadow box. Although this is similar in certain elements, I never copy someone else's work totally. I get inspired by certain elements of it and it sparks my own ideas.

One idea I have been pondering on is to start a home decor classes using Stampin Up products. I have done many home decor projects in the past using scrapbook materials and thought it would be fun to do a Stampin Up Home Decor class. My mind is buzzing with ideas!! Let me know what you think!
